This morning, Bella started telling a detailed story about our former cat, Monterey, talking to her. She even acted it out.
She went into the hallway and said, "He was standing right here, but not like person, like a cat. I was over there. And then he started speaking but he speaked like a person not like a cat."
"What did he say?"
"I don't remember. But I do know that he was speaking to me like a person."
I'm just saying that if a cat talked to me like a person, I would probably remember exactly what he said. Also, what's up with the overusage of "speaking"? You're only five, it's ok to say "talking".
